BASIC PISTOL for civilians (2-Days, 500 rounds)

Location: National Shooting Centre, 990 Old Chua Chu Kang Road (6790-7284)

This is a beginner to limited experience shooter course with maximum range time. It stresses accuracy, speed, and economy of movement. This is the perfect course for those who have never shot a pistol to those that have minimal experience.

The course includes both paper (using the new CSAT targets including the MK Drill Surgical targets) and steel shooting, and will introduce you to the new SERT Standards. This draws heavily on techniques from some of the best instructors in the US. Learn not just how to be fast and accurate, but how to continually improve your skills with proven training methodology, practice routines, and self pace. This course also includes a video review on Day 2 of a drill shot on Day 1. You WILL see a significant improvement in your speed and accuracy after this two-day course.

Required Equipment:

A) Pistol – for those who require it, you can rent your firearm through NSC for $40 per day. What is available for rental is on a first come first serve basis:

3 x Glocks 17, 4 x Beretta 92s, 3 x SIG P226s, 1 x CZ SP-01

B) 3 Magazines preferred but we can work with 2 minimum.

C) Holster plus a Double Mag Carrier or 2 x Single Mag Carrier – please note that SRA/NSC does not supply this with the rental of their pistols. You have to bring your own. If you do not have any of these required equipment, let us know.

D) Eye & Ear Protection

E) 500 rounds of  jacketed ammunition – this can be arranged thru SRA/NSC at $250 for the 500 (50 cents a round).
